Eric explores... the conquest of space - with Eric Mayer - SOLD OUT

How loud was the Big Bang? How deep is a black hole? And is it really possible to look into the past with a telescope? Only children ask questions like these. The answers are provided by the popular knowledge presenter, author and fact-teller Eric Mayer in his home town of Rodgau. Eric is known as the "stuntman of knowledge" from the ZDF programme PUR+ and has tried out what many people dream of: he has survived a parabolic flight, tasted the food of the future and squeezed himself into a spacesuit. He has written down his experiences in his book "Eric explores... the conquest of space". He reports on exciting missions, tells us about his personal thoughts and feelings about the infinite vastness of space and has plenty of fun facts up his sleeve. This interactive journey to the stars guarantees fun for everyone! The reading will take place on 22 October at 4 pm in the Nieder-Roden public library. The event is free of charge and suitable for adventurous children aged 6 and over. The event is presented as part of the Literature Festival Leseland Hessen with the kind support of the Hessian Ministry of Science and Research, Art and Culture, the Sparkassen-Kulturstiftung Hessen-Thüringen and hr2 Kultur.
