Under the title "Paths", two female artists and one male artist from Dietzenbach are showing the results of their different creative development. The exhibition begins on 10 April at 6 pm with a vernissage in the Rodgau-Galerie, Nieuwpoorter Straße 90 in Rodgau Dudenhofen. Head of Cultural Affairs Winno Sahm will open the exhibition that evening. Duo Suerte will entertain with Spanish-influenced guitar music. Dorita Jung will be showing paintings, here she favours clear still lifes. In order to give space to the interplay of shadow and light, the trained engraver stages her still lifes against a black background. However, her pictures are less opulent, more modern and very reduced, but impressively clear. Elisabeth Schuler specialises in mixed media and works on paper. The freelance designer and artist enjoys working with paper and uses the techniques of monotype and paper weaving. Schuler has been working with ceramics for a few years now and also exhibits objects created from this in the gallery. Wilfried Nürnberger is focussing on his etchings in the exhibition. Alongside painting and drawing, printing techniques have been part of his artistic expression for 20 years. The architect has trained in various art courses since 1987 and, like the two artists, belongs to various art associations. On Sunday, 14 April and Sunday, 26 May, there will be a demonstration of etching with Wilfried Nürnberger in the gallery from 2 pm. Elisabeth Schuler will be explaining her works on paper on Sunday, 28 April and Sunday, 9 May, both from 2 p.m., and will let guests try out the frottage technique for themselves. On Sunday 5 May, Head of Cultural Affairs Winno Sahm will guide visitors through the varied exhibition. The finissage with drinks will take place on Sunday, 09 June from 2 pm. The Rodgau Gallery is open Wednesday from 6 pm to 9 pm and Sunday from 2 pm to 6 pm. Admission is free.
