Originally, tree planting was planned as part of the redesign of Konrad-Kappler-Straße. However, these could not be realised due to various cable routes in the area of the planting discs. Instead, after re-examining the possibilities, planting discs have now been prepared and filled with a special planting substrate. Over the next two weeks, a mixture of small shrubs, perennials, grasses and geophytes (spring bulbs) will be planted. Care will be taken to ensure that the low vegetation does not restrict visibility in road traffic. The measure contributes to the greening of the streetscape and at the same time promotes biodiversity.
