Easter market in the Nieder-Roden community centre

The popular Easter market will once again take place on Saturday, 24 February from 2 pm to 6 pm and on Sunday, 25 February from 11 am to 5 pm in the Bürgerhaus Nieder-Roden, Römerstaße 15. This year's Easter market will feature 46 hobby artists and clubs. As every year, the Bürgerhaus Nieder-Roden will be transformed into a colourful, cheerful oasis of spring on this weekend. There is a lot to discover at the lovingly decorated stands, such as 3D cards, gift boxes, all kinds of felt, glasswork using the Tiffany technique, ceramics, patchwork, crochet figures, silk painting, teddy bears and dolls, woodwork and wooden toys, Easter decorations, handmade jewellery and much more. The NABU group Rodgau will be providing information on the topic "Orchard meadow: Insects in the garden and nature-orientated garden design" and provide instructions on how to build nesting aids and insect hotels. The ladies of the SOS-Helferkreis not only take over the Easter café with delicious cakes and coffee, but also offer savoury dishes. Visitors to the Easter market who would like to take cakes home with them are asked to bring their own containers. A colourful supporting programme on both days with dance groups from Rodgau and Heusenstamm round off the market. As every year, admission is free. All proceeds from the Easter market will be donated to the children's villages by the SOS-Helferkreis.
