One king too many - children's theatre from the age of 5

The Studiobühne Dreieich will be performing "One King Too Many" on Sunday, 10 March at 4 p.m. in the Bürgerhaus Nieder-Roden, Römerstraße 15. The show is suitable for children aged 5 and over and will be performed without an intermission. The Mütterzentrum is organising a theatre café from 3 pm. When two kings suddenly find themselves facing each other in a confined space and both shout at the same time: "Out of the way! Make way for the king!", then probably nothing will happen at first, because would a king ever back down? Never! Then there is clearly one king too many and it must first be clarified which of the two is in charge. This is exactly what happens to the heroes in this play. After both have been shipwrecked, the kings manage to save themselves on a desert island and come face to face for the first time. In no man's land, far away from the people and the cheers, they are now on their own, with no servant far and wide to shine their shoes or serve them tea. The only thing they can really do is give orders. But what use are orders if there is no one to carry them out? A competition begins. Until the two kings make the marvellous discovery of teamwork, the cards are reshuffled again and again. Tickets are available in advance for 7 euros at the Agentur für Kultur, Sport und Ehrenamt in the Alte Apotheke, Schwesternstraße 10, as well as online at www.frankfurtticket.de. Remaining tickets can be purchased at the box office from 15:00.
