Anyone who already has a project idea that could increase the attractiveness of the district centre around Puiseauxplatz Nieder-Roden now has the opportunity to apply for funding from the Disposal Fund to receive up to €20,000 in support for a project. Citizens can finance a wide range of small to medium-sized measures with the disposal fund. The basic requirement is that the measures must benefit the revitalisation and attractiveness of the district centre. This can include investments in public spaces such as furniture, lighting, art and greenery or the equipment and organisation of events. In addition, concepts, consultancy services or planning aimed at increasing the attractiveness of the centre can also be funded. In addition to citizens, funding applications can also be submitted by local businesses such as retailers or restaurants, associations and citizens' initiatives, non-profit organisations or interest groups. However, the prerequisite is that the project is located in the "Zuhause im Zentrum" project funding area. There will also be a small information stand at the weekly market on Friday 22 March from 9 am to 1 pm. Everyone is welcome to come along and find out more directly on site. The background to the disposal fund is the "Sustainable inner cities and centres" funding programme of the Federal Ministry of Housing, Urban Development and Building, in which the town of Rodgau and the centre around Puiseauxplatz were included the year before last. The funding period ends in August 2025, by which time it will also be possible to implement measures via the disposition fund.
