The Rodgau public library is organising a sunflower competition this year. Under the motto "Who has the tallest sunflower", children can sow sunflowers, nurture and care for them over the summer, watch them grow and learn a lot along the way. The sunflower seeds can be collected free of charge from the Nieder-Roden and Jügesheim libraries during opening hours from 25 to 28 March - while stocks last. The deadline for determining the height of the sunflower is 30 August. To take part, send a photo of the sunflower with a recognisable folding rule to buecherei@rodgau.de. The children with the five tallest sunflowers will each receive a book voucher.
