The cemetery buildings in Nieder-Roden and Jügesheim are equipped with video cameras and alarm systems. The devices monitor the buildings and their immediate surroundings in compliance with all data protection regulations. Signs on site indicate the use of the cameras. The reason for the installation of cameras and alarm systems is the theft of a considerable number of copper parts from the buildings last year and this year. In Jügesheim, thieves stole parts of the copper roof and in Nieder-Roden guttering and downpipes, also made of copper. This caused considerable material damage to the two cemetery buildings.
