There are currently three municipal youth centres in Rodgau that offer children and young people aged 9 and over a wide range of activities. These include various media, creative, sports, games and leisure activities as well as support with school, private or family problems. The Open Meeting Centre is a central service that offers all interested young people a place to meet, exchange ideas and enjoy leisure activities. During opening hours, children and young people can simply drop by without prior registration and use the available rooms and activities such as billiards, table football or board games. "I am delighted that we are now able to extend the opening hours of our youth centres even further," says First City Councillor Janika Martin. What's new is that the Dudenhofen youth centre is now also open on Saturdays from 3 to 8.30 pm. Otherwise, the doors are open Tuesdays to Fridays from 3 pm. Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday until 7 pm, Thursdays close at 8.30 pm. On Fridays, there is an additional special for young people aged 14 and over (14+): they can stay in the youth centre until 10.30 pm. The youth centre in Jügesheim is open Monday to Friday from 3 pm to 8 pm and in Weiskirchen Monday to Friday from 2 pm to 8 pm. In order to give young people in the largest district of Nieder-Roden a local space, a youth club has been set up in the social centre every Thursday from 3 pm to 8 pm. The previous cookery project for young people organised by the community work will be taken over by the municipal youth work. When the weather is nice, the youth mobile will also be on site at Puiseauxplatz on Wednesday afternoons. There are lots of games and outdoor activities on board, such as various balls, slackline, skateboards, magnetic darts, board games and creative activities. Deckchairs invite you to make yourself comfortable, listen to music and have a relaxing time.
