City administration welcomes new trainees

The town of Rodgau is delighted to welcome six new trainees as administrative assistants this year. Lisa Wortmann, Pauline Waitz, Lea Reus, Vanessa Bretz, Nicole Starzebski and Sarah Schmelz started work on 1 August. At the beginning, they were personally greeted and warmly welcomed by Mayor Max Breitenbach. Before the trainees start their day-to-day work, they will be familiarised with the structures in the city administration over the next few days as part of an "onboarding week". This will not only include informative training sessions, but also a tour of the city's various branches, such as the fire service, sewage treatment plant and municipal utilities. The trainees also receive all the important materials they need for their training. This includes a laptop on which they can complete initial safety training. During the three-year training programme, the junior employees get to know almost all areas of a municipal administration. This includes not only fields of activity in the so-called core administration such as personnel or organisation, but also in citizen services, the fire brigade, the municipal utilities or in the cultural sector. They also gain an insight into the social sector, urban planning, business development and facility management and, of course, the large area of public safety and order. The city of Rodgau wishes its new trainees a successful start and a promising future!
