The composting plant of Stadtwerke Rodgau, Blumenau 1a, will open its doors on 15 February at 9 am. Rodgau residents will be warmly welcomed with a small floral greeting while stocks last. Deliverers should bring this year's authorisation form with them. Anyone who has not received a licence will be given one on request at the composting facility. You should have your identity card ready. Green waste, grass cuttings, leaves and prunings (max. 8cm diameter & 1m length) in normal household quantities can be delivered to the facility free of charge. The free collection of finished compost in normal household quantities is also offered this year; please bring a suitable container. The free use of the composting facility is reserved exclusively for the citizens of Rodgau. Businesses can deliver their green waste for a fee. A fee of 15 euros gross is charged for each cubic metre at the time of delivery. It is also possible for tradespeople to deliver finished compost for 22.50 euros gross per cubic metre. The composting facility is available to Rodgau residents three days a week from February to December. The opening hours in the spring and summer months from 15 February to 31 October are Mondays and Fridays from 2 pm to 6 pm and Saturdays from 9 am to 4 pm. In the autumn and winter months, the composting facility is open from 1 November to 15 December on Mondays and Fridays from 2 pm to 4 pm and on Saturdays from 9 am to 2 pm.
