We are looking for at least one reliable and committed person to support the safety of primary school children on their way from the school at the Bürgerhaus to Nieder-Roden railway station for the 2025/2026 school year. The accompaniment takes place once a week on Fridays from approx. 13:40 to 14:40. The school escorts ensure an orderly and safe journey home for a group of around 15 pupils. Those interested should be at least 18 years old and have a clean criminal record. They should also enjoy working with children and have a friendly, patient and respectful manner as well as a sense of responsibility and attentiveness in road traffic. Last but not least, school escorts should be physically fit enough to regularly walk the distance between the school and the railway station. Anyone who can imagine taking on this responsible task and would like to make a valuable contribution to the safety of children should contact the volunteer exchange in the Department of Culture, Sport and Volunteering at kultur@rodgau.de. The Rodgau Volunteer Exchange is also happy to provide advice on other fields of activity and support people who are interested in taking on new tasks in voluntary work.
