The after-work music series at the lido is starting again. Coffee and the Summer Sun" will kick off the series on 25 June at 6 pm. Admission is included in the regular lido entry fee. In 2007, the two Frankfurt musicians Tai Garadi and Ralf Göldner founded the duo "Coffee and the Summer Sun" (C.A.T.S.S.). Tai Garadi, the charismatic exceptional singer with Yemeni roots, had his first artist contract with the well-known Berlin producer Lutz Fahrenkrug-Petersen (GZSZ, Nena, Spliff, Oli P.) at the age of 18 and has also appeared on stage several times on Stefan Raab's "TV Total". He completed a three-year musical training programme at the Scream Factory run by Linda Rocco (Masterboy) and George Liszt. He studied singer-songwriting and singing with the renowned vocal coaches Mary Applegate, songwriter for Jennifer Rush and La Bouche, and Amy Leverenz. Garadi has a warm, soulful, extremely flexible, multi-faceted and unique voice. Complemented by his oriental temperament and dazzling charm, he succeeds in expressing emotions honestly and profoundly, immediately captivating his audience. The well-known Frankfurt drummer and percussionist Ralf Göldner already had the opportunity to experience international music cultures in his youth through numerous trips abroad to Brazil, the USA and the Caribbean. He has been a nationally active percussionist and drummer since 1986. Ralf Göldner has worked with the Rodgau Monotones, Michael Quast, Konrad Beikircher, Beatrice Richter, Glashaus (3P), FIFA World Cup 2006 (opening solo act), Gastone and has taken part in numerous studio and TV productions. He has also been a permanent member of the variety orchestra at the "Tigerpalast" in Frankfurt for many years.
