Matthias Brodowy: No time for pessimism

Cabaret artist Matthias Brodowy will be performing on Saturday, 22 March, at 8 pm in the Bürgerhaus Nieder Roden, Römerstraße 15. Admission is from 7 pm. Matthias Brodowy is a classic artist: a hypochondriac who expects some kind of super disaster to befall him in the next second. In case of doubt, a dinosaur-like meteorite impact. And that is precisely why he is of the opinion that there is definitely no time for pessimism. Sounds contradictory? At most as contradictory as life itself. But it's actually the only chance to turn things around. Because burying your head in the sand is definitely not breathable. So why not give the apocalypse a leg up and simply take action? With a smile on your face, because it would be a shame to leave the world to people you can never please anyway. This cabaret evening is a clear exclamation mark for all those who would still plant an apple tree if the world were to end tomorrow. When you're up to your neck in water, one principle applies: no time for pessimism! And then? Confetti! Biodegradable. As always, Brodowy's tenth programme is political, literary and musical. In addition, the self-proclaimed representative of highbrow nonsense also likes to indulge in cultivated silliness and grotesque history. Tickets for this entertaining evening are available at the Alte Apotheke, Schwesternstraße 10, Ludwigstraße entrance or at the box office. Reservations can also be made by telephone on 06106-693-1227.
