FFH dummy questioner live on Puiseauxplatz

In the run-up to this year's town festival, the Rodgau town library will be presenting Boris Meinzer alias FFH-Dummfrager with his anniversary tour on Friday, 23 May at 19:30 on the open-air stage. He will present highlights from his new book "Da steht ein Herd auf'm Flur" and anecdotes from 20 years of surveys. His speciality is silly questions, his weapon is a microphone: the FFH dummfrager is Hessen's best-known and most popular radio personality. He has been on the Hit Radio FFH programme without interruption for 20 years now, making him one of the longest-running radio comedy series in Germany. Since the first episode, nothing has changed in the concept of his comedy surveys: The Dummfrager uses simple but rarely stupid trick questions to test people's knowledge in Hessian pedestrian zones: Which city is the Augsburger Puppenkiste from? Who built the Brandenburg Gate? And what kind of music does the Sistine Chapel actually play? The best of 20 years of Dummfragger is now available as a book to read: "Da steht ein Herd auf'm Flur" is great fun for the Dummfragger's fan community and brings together the funniest questions and answers from two decades. Boris Meinzer, comedian, freelance comedy author and producer (with Hit Radio FFH since 2002) is behind the Dummfragers character. Together with his colleague Dirk Haberkorn, he has already won the German Radio Prize twice in the "Best Comedy" category. Their comedy series such as "Marie from Paris" have been broadcast nationwide by numerous radio stations, reaching millions of listeners. The team at the public library is looking forward to a fun evening and many visitors. Drinks will be provided. The proceeds from the sale of drinks and donations will go to the Hospice am Wasserturm. The Jügesheim bookshop will be on site with a book table. Boris Meinzer will take time after the reading to sign books for his fans. Attendance is free, registration is not necessary. In the event of rain, the event will be moved to the Nieder-Roden community centre.
