The Rodgau public library invites all young bookworms to embark on a literary summer adventure: The "Book Thirst Campaign" runs from 26 June to 29 August and all children and young people in grades 1 to 9 can take part. Those interested can already register online via the homepage rodgau.de. New this year is the division into "Book Thirst" for the 5th to 9th grades and Junior for the 1st to 4th grades. This means that there will be twice as many winners as in previous years, as the awards and main prizes will also be counted and awarded separately. How does the "Book Thirst" work? Anyone who wants to take part can register free of charge online or by completing the registration form. Only "Book Thirst" participants will be granted access to exclusive reading material. Readers rate each book they have read. In return, they receive an evaluation card, which is handed in on their next visit to the public library. Anyone who has read at least 3 books during the summer holidays is honoured with a certificate and automatically enters the prize draw at the big closing ceremony at the end of the summer. Those with the most books read will receive an extra prize. The "Book Thirst" starts on 26 June in the Jügesheim public library, the last day to borrow books is 21 August and the evaluation cards must be handed in by 28 August. The Nieder-Roden public library started a day later on 27 June, with the last day to borrow books on 22 August and hand in the evaluation cards on 29 August. The "Book Thirst Campaign" is a wonderful opportunity for children to be inspired by captivating stories during the summer months and to share the joy of reading with like-minded people.
