Scary and beautiful stories with Robert Scheffner

From the books "Rufus is mad" and "Hornbert is sweet"

Scary fans of all ages should make a note of 28 October. From 3.30 pm, author and illustrator Robert Scheffner will be reading from his books "Rufus ist sauer" and "Hornbert ist süß" at the Nieder-Roden public library. The stories about the sweet and sour pumpkin Rufus and the unicorn Hornbert set the mood for Halloween in an eerily beautiful way. Rufus would like to be scary, but unfortunately he looks far too sweet. Will he succeed in terrifying the world? Hornbert has hiccups - but not the usual kind: Every time he hiccups, something in creepy land transforms and becomes sugary sweet. Hornbert and Rufus set off together to save the land of horrors.

Children from 4 years

Children aged 4 and over are cordially invited to accompany Rufus and Hornbert on their adventures. The illustrations from the books come to life on the big screen and whisk you away to Scheffner's fantasy worlds. Admission is free, but registration is requested. Registration is possible by telephone on 06106 693 1322, by e-mail to buecherei@rodgau.de or on site at the Nieder-Roden and Jügesheim libraries. The author's picture books can be purchased at the book table of the "Gartenstadt Bücher" bookshop.
