"Whirlwind in the living room" in the Rodgau Gallery

After the successful vernissage, the energetic paintings by Anja Flügel and the pop sculptures by Hagga Bühler can be experienced every Sunday from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm and Wednesday from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. On Sunday, 28 September, from 14:00, there will be a discussion between the two exhibitors and with visitors. Anyone who wants to know what the figure "Klaa Paris" has to do with Max Beckmann or what the masks in one of Anja Flügel's paintings mean will have the opportunity to get answers here. Bühler's figures are reminiscent of comics, manga and pop art and are profound. Their expressiveness only becomes clear on closer inspection and after the first smile has passed. Although sometimes humorous and playful, they turn out to be ambiguous and powerful. Predominantly strong and self-confident women who stand up for themselves. Flügel's colourful pictures create a great energy that flows over to the people, as one visitor noted at the vernissage. The objects are sometimes fairytale-like, surreal or very matter-of-fact. They correspond with the wooden sculptures and together form a wild mix that is a joy to look at. Rodgau-Galerie, Nieuwpoorter Straße 90 in Rodgau Dudenhofen. Admission free.
