First step completed
The first stage of municipal heat planning in Rodgau has been completed. The suitability test has shown that there are suitable technical prerequisites for further planning for the entire city area. In the next step, the existing heat supply will be systematically analysed as part of an inventory analysis. Based on this, possible options for a future, sustainable heat supply will be considered. The legal mandate is to develop prospects for a climate-neutral heat supply by 2045. To carry out the heat planning, Rodgau has joined forces with the neighbouring municipalities of Obertshausen, Rödermark and Mühlheim am Main to form a so-called convoy process.

Interested citizens from all four municipalities will find out what Rodgau and the entire convoy can expect as part of the heat planning at the first information event for the entire convoy on 16 April at Bürgerhaus Hausen, Tempelhofer Straße 10, 63179 Obertshausen. The event starts at 18:30, admission is from 18:00. In addition, the event will be streamed live online for everyone to watch from the comfort of their own home. Registration is not necessary.
