The Nieder-Roden public library invites you to a springtime reading on Thursday, 19 March at 7 pm. Ljubica Perkman will get her audience in the mood for the coming season with poems, stories and aphorisms. The poet, prose writer and painter was born in what is now Bosnia and has lived and worked in Germany since 1969. She is committed to local culture and organises readings for children, young people and senior citizens. Perkman is a co-founder of the International Reading Café in Rodgau, the Literaturwerkstatt Frankfurt, from which the current Sieben e. V. association emerged, and the large world theatre in Rodgau. Together with the Hainburger Autorenrunde and the schools in Rodgau, she organised youth writing competitions and many international readings. The author was and is a member of many clubs, associations and groups. Ljubica Perkman is currently a German-Bosnian poetry ambassador for the Liceo Poetico di Benidorm association (Benidorm, Spain) and a member of the Hainburger Autorenrunde (Hainburg, Austria).
