The vhs course Ro 05.01.09 teaches the basics of 3D printing and computer-aided design (CAD) in a practical way. It will take place on Saturday, 21 March, from 9:00 to 14:00 at the Jugendhaus, Freiherr-vom-Stein-Straße 8. Participants will learn how 3D printing works, what printing processes and materials are available and how simple models can be created on the computer and prepared for printing. A clear introduction to the "Fusion 360" software shows the path from the digital design to the print-ready and actually printed 3D file (STL). Note on the course location: The course room is not barrier-free. The fees can be found on the vhs homepage or in the programme booklet. Those interested can register online at www.vhs-rodgau.de or send a written application to vhs Rodgau, Hintergasse 15, 63110 Rodgau.
