City library

The municipal libraries in Rodgau Nieder-Roden and Jügesheim offer a wide range of programmes for people of all ages. In addition to an extensive selection of media, regular events, readings and children's programmes are on the agenda.

The Nieder-Roden public library will be closed on 1 December 2025 due to an internal event.

The Nieder-Roden public libraries will be closed from 23.12.2025 to 04.01.2026. The first opening day in the new year is Monday, 05.01.2026. The return box will be closed from 22.12.2025 3 pm and can be used again from 05.01.2026 from 7 pm.

Jügesheim

The Jügesheim public library will be closed from 24.12.2025 to 05.01.2026. The first opening day in the new year in the Jügesheim library is 06.01.2025. The return box in Jügesheim will be closed from 23.12.2025 at 3 pm and can be used again from 06.01.2026 from 7 pm.


Library card

If you do not yet have a library card , you can apply for a library card online. You can then collect your library card from the branch of your choice.

rodgaucard as a reading pass

The rodgaucard also functions as a reading card for the Rodgau public libraries. It can be used to borrow all media in the municipal library network free of charge and to use the online services.

  • Old library cards can be exchanged for the Rodgaucard free of charge at the public library.
  • If you already have a rodgaucard, you can also activate the reader card on site.
