What is child day care?
Young children in particular (usually aged 1 to 3 years) are cared for and accompanied in a private environment. They experience a family-like day in a small group (max. 5 children present at the same time).
Childminders base their pedagogical work on the Hessian Education and Upbringing Plan and create their own pedagogical concept during their qualification programme.
Within the framework of the legal requirements, they have the opportunity to independently design their own individual childcare services (including opening hours, room design, pedagogical programmes),
which also enables a good work-life balance. For their own children, being together and playing with daycare children on a daily basis also provides a valuable social experience. What does childcare in day care mean?
