There are 11 active senior citizens' clubs in Rodgau. The activities are organised seasonally and include coffee and games afternoons as well as day trips. In addition, the town organises lectures and courses as well as projects such as the Babbelbänke and the Wunsch-Großeltern project.

The Babbelbänke benches in all districts are designed to invite people to linger and chat with their neighbours. And across all generations.
Young parents often live with their children without grandparents in the neighbourhood. And there are more mature people who would like to take on the role of grandma or grandad from time to time. We are looking for families with children and the "young at heart" (50+) who would like to spend time together.
