"Babbelbänke" - To babble on the park bench

The idea
Anyone who takes a seat on the "Babbelbank" is signalling openness to a communicative exchange. It can be used at any time to get into conversation with other people and make new contacts. This is also intended to encourage older people, for example, who often have fewer social contacts, to get to know their neighbours.

In every Rodgau neighbourhood there is a bench marked with a small brass "Babbelbank" sign.
