In addition to counselling services such as "Living in old age" or "Dementia and care", the city also offers advice in the home environment through community care.

General counselling for senior citizens

The senior citizens' counselling service offers information on care, health care proxies, care and living wills, assistance and support services. Care facilities, day care facilities, care services, self-help groups.

Care & Dementia

Care and support situations can be better managed if family carers are informed about the course of the disease, how to deal with people with dementia, treatment options and the legal basis.

Living in old age

The goal of most people is to remain independent and in their own four walls for as long as possible. We are happy to help with this or to discuss and organise the transition to another form of housing by providing information or a personal meeting.

Counselling at home

Elderly people who are no longer mobile enough to seek advice locally can contact the community nurse. They can put you in touch with doctors, insurance companies, authorities, care service providers, meals on wheels and other contacts.
