Forest - habitat & place of leisure
The municipal forest covers an area of 2,118 hectares. Our forest is a source of timber, a recreational area and a habitat for many plants and animals. The forestry department is responsible for the care and maintenance of the areas.

In addition to Rodgau Park, Helix Park and Luther Park, there are numerous green spaces, including two dog meadows.
Nature & species conservation
Fish have been swimming in the renaturalised Rodgau again for some time and storks are nesting in the nature reserve between Jügesheim and Hainhausen.
