Arbitration offices
There are two arbitration districts in Rodgau.
- North for Weiskirchen and Hainhausen
- South for Jügesheim, Dudenhofen and Nieder-Roden
Tasks
The arbitration offices have the task of conducting arbitration proceedings in civil and criminal disputes with the aim of reaching an amicable settlement between the parties. There are two arbitration districts in Rodgau. The South Arbitration District for the districts of Jügesheim, Dudenhofen and Nieder-Roden and the North Arbitration District for Weiskirchen and Hainhausen.
Responsibilities
According to the Arbitration Act, the arbitration offices are responsible in particular for civil law disputes (including neighbourhood disputes) and for the following criminal offences:
- Insult
- Bodily injury
- Damage to property
- Trespassing
- Threat
- Violation of the secrecy of correspondence
Fees
According to the Hessian Arbitration Act, costs of between 20 and 50 euros are incurred for conducting arbitration proceedings.
