    • Prince Carnival Mathias II and his wife Silke II take over the reigns in Rodgau. Second Rodgau Art Mile at the Jügesheim Advent Stroll puts 21 artists in the spotlight. Proceeds for social projects.
    • The remodelling of the Georg Büchner School celebrates the end of the second phase. New rooms and new break hall inaugurated.
  • December

    • The post office in Hainhausen is moving. Reduced service until a new contractual partner is found.
    • 77 new car parks opened at the Dudenhofen community centre.
    • Rodgau cabaret group "En Haufe Leut" donate 7000 euros to schools and youth work.
    • The Geschwister-Scholl-Schule celebrates its fortieth anniversary.
    • Gärtnerei Fischer and Gartenservice Rümenapp set up a Zen garden on the roundabout between Nieder-Roden and Dudenhofen.
    • After the Haufler and Schüler nurseries and the Reiber company, the city has thus found another sponsor for the design of the city's roundabouts.
