With eleven schools, Rodgau offers a strong foundation for education and career guidance. This creates valuable opportunities for companies: school internships, company tours and project collaborations can get young people interested in apprenticeships at an early stage and involve them directly in the company. This network is supplemented by two central formats:
- The Rodgau Open Industry Festival - "Jobs & Beats!" has been bringing industry and young people together in a creative way since 2018. Apprentice speed dating, job information and live music create an informal atmosphere in which initial professional contacts can be made.
- Every year, the Rodgau Education Fair offers a broad stage for training companies, universities and further education institutions. Pupils from all types of schools receive concrete guidance here - supported by teachers and parents. Most recently, around 120 exhibitors presented themselves at the Heinrich-Böll-Schule.
Together, schools, companies and the city help to promote and retain local talent.
Rodgau Health Forum - working together for quality of life locally
Together with the ASD Concepts Institute from Reinheim, the healthcare provision in Rodgau was analysed more closely back in 2017. This collaboration gave rise to the Rodgau Health Forum - an active network of medical, nursing, therapy and social services professionals.
The forum is coordinated by the city's economic development department and supported by ASD Concepts. Stakeholders from the healthcare sector come together several times a year to identify needs, develop projects and work together on solutions - always with the aim of improving local healthcare in Rodgau.
One of the main results of this cooperation is the MEDZENTRUM Rodgau, a modern health centre in Dudenhofen.
