The neighbourhood festival at Seestraße 2-4 will take place on Saturday, 9 May, from 11:00 to 15:00. For the third time, the organisers from the Nieder-Roden district office are focusing on a colourful and lively festival for young and old with great encounters and conversations. The aim of the festival is to further activate the Seestraße neighbourhood and make the district even livelier. It is intended to be a meeting place for all generations to strengthen the sense of community. The city of Rodgau supports activities and events of this kind in order to promote social participation and inclusion. That's why local initiatives are once again invited to actively help organise the festival this year. Exciting highlights await guests this year. There will be colourful hands-on stations for children, such as face painting and craft activities. There will also be a book bargain market organised by the Gartenstadt Bücher bookshop. In addition, King Martial Arts will be providing a self-defence performance. A colourful buffet, put together by neighbours and parents of the Seestraße daycare centre, will provide refreshments. This provides a good opportunity to socialise while eating and enjoying food together. There will also be stands from the Caritas Ost refugee counselling service, the Kinderschutzbund and WISA e.V., among others. The organising team is confident that the activities and commitment of all those involved will once again result in a lively and cheerful festival. They are particularly pleased about the local sports clubs, which are taking part for the first time this year. The community work and the Nieder-Roden district office is funded by the Ministry of Labour, Integration, Youth and Social Affairs. In the city of Rodgau, the project is being implemented by the Municipal Education Management Department in Department 6 - Social Affairs and Education.
