At the Nieder-Roden Municipal Library, children can enjoy a picture book cinema once a month. The illustrations from a story are projected onto a screen whilst the text is read aloud. On 14 August at 3.30 pm, there will be a special edition of this popular event. For the first time, the ‘Drive-In’ picture book cinema will take place outdoors on Puiseauxplatz. Modelled on the classic drive-in cinema, the young audience members arrive in their own vehicles. Whether it’s a Bobby Car, a tricycle or a scooter, anything with wheels is welcome at the “Drive-In”. As soon as every child has found a parking space and grabbed a portion of popcorn, the fun can begin! The event is free of charge and suitable for children aged 3 and over. Please do make sure to bring a set of wheels. No booking is required. The event will be cancelled in the event of bad weather.
