Work on the new construction phase 1.2 on Wilhelm-Leuschner-Straße is expected to begin on 14 August. The western carriageway will then be resurfaced. Wilhelm-Leuschner-Straße will become a one-way street between the Südtrasse roundabout and Humboldtstraße. The wider diversion will remain in place, whilst the local diversion for traffic coming from the north will run via Humboldtstraße, Jügesheimer Straße and Westendstraße to Rochusstraße. Due to the closure of one carriageway on Rochusstraße between Hans-Sachs-Straße and Wilhelm-Leuschner-Straße, which is a one-way street from east to west, the diversion turns into Hans-Sachs-Straße and leads from there via Wilhelm-Leuschner-Straße to the roundabout at Südtrasse. The diversion is signposted. City bus route OF-40 is being diverted via Jügesheimer Straße in the direction of Weiskirchen. No bus stops are being omitted.
