The city's youth employment promotion projects JUGEND STÄRKEN in Schule und Beruf and BerufsWegeBegleitung are once again organising the popular Job & Grill event this year. It will take place on Tuesday, 9 June, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Jugendhaus, Freiherr-vom-Stein-Straße 8. "With Job & Grill, we have been creating uncomplicated access between young talent and companies for years. I'm delighted that this year, too, we can use this format to open up prospects for young people's future careers," says First City Councillor Janika Martin. Young people will be able to obtain information and make contact with various career and training opportunities, including in the areas of wholesale and foreign trade, sales, skilled trades and warehouse logistics. The municipal education management of the city of Rodgau supports this initiative, which not only benefits the young people, but also the companies. They have the opportunity to make contact with motivated junior staff at an early stage. The town of Rodgau is thus setting an important example for the promotion of career prospects and the support of regional companies in securing skilled labour. Catering is also provided to ensure that the bridge between training companies and the pupils from the eastern region of the Offenbach district is a culinary success. Participation is free of charge. The organising team is looking forward to welcoming numerous participants and to concluding the event together at Job & Grill.
