Summer reading club "Book thirst" in the Rodgau public library

The popular summer reading club "Book Thirst" starts on 18 June at the Jügesheim public library and on 19 June at the Nieder-Roden public library. Pupils in years 1 to 9 can register free of charge until 26 June. If you would like to take part in the book craze, you can register free of charge online or by completing the registration form. The registration forms can be collected from the public libraries. Anyone who does not yet have a library card can apply for one at the same time. A library card is issued free of charge for children and young people and there is no annual fee. Online registration is possible via the media catalogue of the Rodgau public library https://sb-rodgau.lmscloud.net/ or the homepage of the city of Rodgau. Anyone who has read and rated at least 3 books during the summer holidays will be honoured with a certificate and will automatically be entered into the prize draw at the big closing ceremony at the end of the summer. "We are looking forward to numerous registrations," says library manager Daniela Olenik. "The Book Thirst campaign is a wonderful opportunity for children and young people to be inspired by captivating stories during the summer months and to share the joy of reading. The team at the public library is already looking forward to the final party with all participating children and young people."
