The vhs course on Friday 3 May 2011 enables participants to discover how, using simple ingredients and subtle touches, an extraordinary menu can be conjured up – one that not only tastes delicious but is also a visual feast that will give you goosebumps. The course takes place on Monday 26 October, from 5.45 pm to 9.45 pm, in the kitchen of the Georg-Büchner-Schule in Jügesheim, Nordring 32. Together, participants will prepare a menu tailored to the theme: as an ‘amuse-bouche’, there will be ‘bloody bread’ and a ‘pyre’, followed by ‘mummy sausages’ and a green ‘poison potion’ soup. For the main course, you can look forward to zombie meatballs in tomato ‘blood’ and cursed pasta. To finish, ‘bloody entrails’ (cinnamon rolls) and a ‘trick-or-treat’ dessert in a glass will be served. Please bring a towel and an apron, several tea towels, various airtight containers for leftovers and a drink. The cost of ingredients is already included in the course fee.
