An afternoon full of activity, creativity and shared experiences awaits children and families on 20 September at Puiseauxplatz in Nieder-Roden. From 1 pm to 6 pm, the 45th Children’s Festival will take place there – an event that has been an integral part of family life in Rodgau for decades. Numerous clubs, institutions and organisations are putting together a colourful programme with a wide range of hands-on activities. Whether it’s crafts, games, blacksmithing or sporting challenges – children can get involved at many different stations, try out new things and have loads of fun in the process. At the same time, curiosity, creativity and learning together are encouraged. A varied programme also awaits visitors on stage. The popular children’s rock band ‘Dunnäkeil’ will get the crowd going with their rousing songs. In addition, a magician will delight the audience with his interactive show, and a theatre performance for the whole family is also on the programme. The children’s festival stands for equality of opportunity and inclusion. That is why all activities are free of charge. Through this event, the Department of Municipal Education Management of the City of Rodgau aims to provide children with easy access to education, social interaction and leisure activities, regardless of their personal or family circumstances. All families are warmly invited to spend a varied afternoon and discover the wide range of activities on offer.
