Office Diversity and Education

Rodgau is home to people from a wide variety of backgrounds, walks of life and world views, with different interests and professions and different social statuses.

The city of Rodgau wants to do justice tothis diverse urban society with the Office for Participation and Diversity. The office therefore promotes coexistence and discourse that is characterised by acceptance and free from discrimination.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Project management "Integration guides" 
• Project management "Sport integrates Hesse" 
• Organisation and implementation of the Intercultural Weeks
• Support and further development of the Rodgau diversity strategy "My Rodgau is ... " and the Rodgau Diversity Declaration
• Project development, project support and, if necessary, project financing with cooperation partners from Rodgau's (association) society and administrative offices
• Organisation and implementation of information events for people in Rodgau with and without a history of migration, flight or immigration
