Service description
If your property is not connected to the wastewater disposal system of your municipality, your wastewater can be treated in a small sewage treatment plant if the legal requirements are met.

As a rule, the municipality is responsible for wastewater disposal. Your local authority will provide you with information on whether, for example, it is planned to connect your property to the public sewage disposal system or whether wastewater disposal is possible using a small sewage treatment plant. Information on the requirements to be met by a small sewage treatment plant can be obtained from the lower water authority.

The municipality removes the sludge produced in the small wastewater treatment plant.
