  • Service description

    Cultural life in Hessen is characterised by a diverse event culture. Concerts, readings, exhibitions and performances are all part of Hessen's cultural diversity.

    The municipal guidelines determine how and where posters and event advertising may be displayed. These guidelines have 2 objectives: They are intended to meet the needs of cultural event organisers and to maintain but also improve the cityscape and streetscape.


    Please note the following:

    • There are labelled, permitted advertising spaces for event advertising:

    - Lampposts

    - Advertising pillars and billboards

    - Large advertising boards at the town entrances

    • The display of posters on public roads is subject to authorisation
    • authorisation is granted for specific attachment points or hanging points
    • Posters may not be placed outside these authorised advertising spaces
