Information event on heavy rain hazards - Are there heavy rain hazards in Rodgau?
Heavy rainfall is a rainfall event confined to a very small area, characterised by very high rainfall totals over a very short period of time, which the drainage and sewerage network is unable to cope with. This results in temporary flooding. Climate change is expected to increase the risk of such events. The town of Rodgau has commissioned a heavy rainfall risk assessment for the urban area. The results will be presented at an information session at the Dudenhofen Community Centre. Attendees will be able to assess the potential impact on their own property or plot of land and receive important advice on how to take precautions themselves.
The city administration cordially invites you to the event.
