The Intercultural Weeks aim to create opportunities for encounters between people from different cultural backgrounds and thus promote better mutual understanding and the elimination of prejudices.
Intercultural weeks in Rodgau
The Diversity and Education Office coordinates the programme of the Intercultural Weeks in Rodgau, which are held annually from 1 September to 31 October in the Offenbach district.
To mark the 50th anniversary, this year's nationwide motto is "for this!".
The motto is deliberately intended to send out a positive signal at a time when forces are growing stronger that seek to divide society and pit one group against another; a time when many debates are not being held with each other, but irreconcilably against each other. It is therefore all the more important to stand up for democracy, human rights, diversity and good coexistence for all people and to take a stand against racism, discrimination and all forms of group-based misanthropy.
