Department Multimodal Transport Services, Smart City

The Multimodal Transport Services & Smart City department is responsible for the conceptual design and billing of local public transport in Rodgau.

She is responsible for the planning, coordination and optimisation of bus operations, including the OF-40 city bus route and special services.

She is also responsible for planning and managing the public Bike & Ride facilities in Rodgau.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Improvement and further development of the route network plan, the stops and the timetable
• Planning and coordination of school transport
• Maintenance and upkeep of bus stop facilities and bus shelters
• Preparation of diversion plans for construction measures or traffic changes
• Control and billing of bus operations (city bus, special trips, etc.)
• Taking on and managing projects within the scope of public transport and mobility
• Planning and management of bike-and-ride facilities in the urban area
