Service description
If you need proof in another country that you are doing business in the Federal Republic of Germany, you can have a business licence card issued.
Prerequisites
You must operate a business in Germany.
Which documents are required?
- Completed application form
- Identity card or passport
- If applicable, extract from the commercial register, register of associations or register of co-operatives
- Certificate of good conduct/extract from the central trade register, if applicable
- Craft card, if applicable
- If applicable, proof of insurance required for the trade exercised
What fees are incurred?
The amount of the fee depends on the time required by the authorities. It amounts to at least 30.50 euros.

No guarantee can be given that the business licence card will be recognised abroad.
