Service description
The polling card informs eligible voters that they are on the electoral roll, where they can vote and whether their polling station is accessible. The municipalities send out the polling cards, which must be delivered to the person entitled to vote no later than the 21st day before the election. An application for postal voting or the issue of a polling card is printed on the back of the polling card. If the application for a polling card is sent to the electoral office by post, it must be sufficiently stamped.
The voter's notification should be brought to the polling station so that the electoral board can find the person entitled to vote more quickly in the electoral roll.
If you have misplaced or lost your polling card, you can still take part in the election. However, do not forget to bring your identity card or passport with you to the polling station.

You must be eligible to vote in the respective election and be entered in the electoral roll.
What deadlines do I have to observe?
Do you assume that you are entitled to vote, but have not received a polling card by the 21st day before an election? Then you should contact your local authority by the 16th day before the election and enquire whether you are on the electoral roll.
