Licence plate number: unstamped

Journeys in connection with the registration may be carried out with unstamped licence plates in the registration district shown on the licence plate and in the neighbouring district if

• the registration authority has allocated or reserved the licence plate in advance and
• the journeys are covered by motor vehicle liability insurance.

The same applies to the return journey after a vehicle has been taken out of service and the licence plates have been cancelled.

The licence plates must be attached to the vehicle. The number of the electronic insurance confirmation (eVB) must be carried.
