Real estate agents and property developers, notification in accordance with Section 9 of the Real Estate Agent and Property Developer Ordinance
Service description
Real estate agents, loan brokers, property developers and construction supervisors must immediately inform the competent authority of the respective
- persons authorised to manage the company,
- persons authorised to manage a branch office, or
- those authorised to represent a legal entity in accordance with the law, articles of association or partnership agreement
display.
The authority then carries out a background check on the designated person(s), for which a fee is charged.
Which documents are required?
The (informal) notification must
- Name,
- Birth name, if applicable,
- First names,
- Nationality,
- Birthday,
- Place of birth and
- address
of the person concerned.
What fees are incurred?
The fee for the background check is charged in accordance with the Administrative Cost Regulations for the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Energy, Transport and Regional Development (VwKostO-MWEVL). It is based on the time spent by the authorities and amounts to at least EUR 30.00.
