The staff unit advises the city/city utilities in the respective business areas and operating branches on all matters relating to funding law, coordinates, manages and monitors projects, maintains a trusting, results-oriented cooperation and represents the organisation competently in the municipal environment, at state and federal level and in committees and associations.

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Coordination and preparation of funding applications, submission of project plans to the relevant authorities, monitoring of realisation in line with funding requirements
  • Project management SMART LIGHTING - The next generation of digital transformation
  • Collaboration, information sharing and digital best practices for the transition from analogue to digital processes
  • Regular market observations and analyses as well as preparation and presentation of market data
  • Sensitisation of municipal utility management to current trends and developments
  • Supporting topics also from an ecological, economic and social perspective
  • Development of innovative digital solutions for services, processes and user experiences in collaboration with various project groups
  • Coordination of relevant measures of particular importance
  • Contact person for various issues within the organisation
