Infrastructure Management Department

Stadtwerke Rodgau is responsible for road construction in the town of Rodgau and is therefore responsible for the municipal roads.

In this role, we plan new roads and paths, are responsible for the maintenance of bridges and roads and ensure road safety within the city of Rodgau. At the same time, we take on traffic management and control tasks on behalf of the Rodgau city council's public order and road traffic department.

We are also responsible for planning bus stops, pedestrian crossings, traffic lights and street lighting systems.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Acceptance and repair of road damage
• Authorisation and monitoring of road demolitions
• Planning and realisation of fundamental road renovations
• Traffic control on behalf of the regulatory and road traffic authorities
• Assuming responsibility for road construction and ensuring road safety
• Inspection and maintenance of bridge structures
• Acceptance and rectification of faults in street lighting and traffic light systems
• Ensuring the operational safety and maintenance of street lighting and traffic light systems
• Planning and implementation of modernisation and new construction projects for street lighting and traffic light systems
• Implementation of smart city / smart lighting measures
